1940 Henri Nishizawa founded Goseikogyosho on the site of the current head office.

1950 Established Nihon Plastic Trading Co., Ltd. to sell synthetic resin materials.
1954 Opened an office in Chuo-ku, Osaka. Opened a service shop in Nipponbashi-Muromachi, Tokyo.



1962 Relocated the head office (now in Higashi Nipponbashi 3 Chome).
1966 Renamed the company Nipra Co., Ltd.
1967 Completed new head office building in Tokyo and new building in Osaka to house offices.



1972 Opened a sales office in Hakata-ku, Fukuoka.
1979 Named Yoshiaki Nishizawa President.

1986 Started operations at a new plant in Minami-Alps City, Yamanashi.
1989 Started operations at a new plant in Kitami City, Hokkaido.


1993 Licensed "SIMPAC" technology from Sumitomo Heavy Industries and began manufacturing IML containers.
1994 Acquired medical device manufacturing license from Japan's Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare.
1999 Bought out Ishino Co., Ltd. and renamed it Okayama Nippra Co., Ltd. (now Okayama Nixx Co., Ltd.).

2000 Acquired ISO9002:1994 certification for the Hokkaido Plant.
2000 Renamed the company Nixx Co., Ltd.
2001 Started operations at a new plant in Kofu, Yamanashi.
2003 Updated the Hokkaido Plant's ISO9002 certification from the 1994 version to the 2000 version.
2004 Acquired ISO14001:2004 certification for the Kofu, Yamanashi and Hokkaido Plants.
2006 Acquired ISO9001:2000 certification for the Kofu and Yamanashi Plants.
2006 Established Nixx H.K. Co., Ltd. in Hongkong.
2009 Named Hideki Nishizawa President.
2009 Established Nixx Shanghai Co., Ltd. in Shanghai, China.


2011 Consolidated the Yamanashi and Kofu Plants as the Minami-Alps Plant.
2013 Established Nixx Vietnam Co., Ltd. in Haiphong, Vietnam.
2017 Updated the Minami-Alps and Hokkaido Plants' ISO9001 certification from the 2008 version to the 2015 version.
2017 Updated the Minami-Alps and Hokkaido Plants' ISO14001 certification from the 2004 version to the 2015 version.
2017 Relocated the Osaka Office from Kawaramachi to Shinsaibashi.
